No time for Love!

Break is over, 4th term begins. Something from my sketchbook. I had a fun, but uncreative break and did not produce amazing work on the magnitude I envisioned. Darn.

The Hare

This is my character from my digital illustration final, expect this to be all the rage amongst K-12 kids this school year.

Another digital illustration project. The colors really look bad on here now that I look at it. The concept behind this one is just too deep and complicated for me to even verbalize....

My first 3rd term project on interest. A self portrait based entirely on reality. Yes, I do fight robots.

Mighty logo rocks the fat ass.

A very famous photographer came to me and said, "you're the best in the business, and I need a logo, stat". Naturally I had to take on this task, after many grueling hours this was the result.

Actually this is a logo I did for my friend Dave Levine and his up and coming photography business, and that episode described above takes place 10 years in the future between us. 

Alien kino

The aliens are real man, didn't you see Fire in the Sky?

Third term has just begun, why not post a throwback from first term!? This was my digital design poster project. Just started digital illustration today, I can tell right now I'll produce some work much better then this in there.

The next term is almost here, and it wont come soon enough! Remember long ago, pre-swine attack the big news was Somali pirates. I haven't forgotten you piratical Africans!

Head Hunter

One-hundred heads from Jeff Smith's one-hundred heads project term 1. A good project it made me explore a lot of styles. I didn't paint enough of them due to novice painter status and the sheer amount of time I was already dedicating to this.

Illustration project from David Luce's comp. and painting. He said it was a really good stereotype of a terrorist, minus the muppet-like hand.

Another Illustration project form comp. and painting. Never really felt it was 100% finished, but I'm certainly done with it now.

Last painting from comp. and painting. Was sad that class was ending, felt I was beginning to get a grasp on oils and my painting skills were improving. Oils 14"x18".

Oh yes, the Design 2 abstraction project. A fun thing to do. I did the velociraptor in full nerd mode, watched a little Jurassic Park to get in the right mindset. Welded sheet metal. 

Gotta get it up.
